Pink Wine from Under The Saint-Tropez Sun

May 1, 2020

Now And Zin Wine published a story centered around Château Minuty and the 2019 Prestige. In addition to sharing that the winery has been in the Matton-Farnet family for 80 years, the writer focuses the rest of the piece on the newly introduced vintage of Prestige. Described as a nice “Provençal pinkie,” the wine is comprised of Grenache, Cinsault, Tibouren and Syrah grown in “a rigorous selection of the best Côtes de Provence vineyards.” In further detail, she adds “this barely-peach-pink wine is loaded with nose – cherries and berries for days with a hint of earth from the south of France.  The palate is also fruity, and juicy to boot.” Read her full review HERE

The Saint-Tropez based, family owned estate has been, since its founding, one of the quality leaders for the region. Minuty then became one of the most visible producers in the second half of the 20th century, a result of quality production and commercial foresight when no one in the region could imagine the global phenomenon Provence rosé would become. And then in the last two decades, Minuty defined the vision for and led the unbelievable growth in Provence rosé around the globe.
